Community Picnic - Sept. 30, 2017 As part of our 300th Anniversary year, we threw a Community Picnic at Molasses Creek Park. Thanks to Mountain Heritage Bluegrass Band for all the wonderful music, Camp Men-O-Lan for loaning us the children's game, and to the community! 300th Anniversary Celebration - Sunday, June 25, 2017 300th Anniversary Celebration--Saturday, June 24, 2017 On June 24 & 25 we had our biggest anniversary celebration of the year, with service projects and a pig roast on Saturday and a special worship service on Sunday. Clash of the Church Choirs - April 2017 The 10th and final Clash of the Church Choirs "Sing for Life" Concert, held at West Swamp on April 30, raised $3,948 for Relay for Life. Why Knot! Week-Monday March 6, 2017: Starting off six days of marathon comforter knotting Why Knot! Week-Tuesday March 7, 2017--Working on our 300 comforter challenge Why Knot! Week-Wednesday March 8, 2017--We pass the halfway mark to our goal Why Knot! Week-Thursday March 9, 2017--With 195 comforters already finished, our goal looks very reachable! Why Knot! Week-Friday March 10, 2017: We say good-bye to the Bluffton Serve Club (but not until the dietetics majors put ham & bean soup in the roaster for our supper). They leave us in very good shape toward meeting our 300 comforter goal. Why Knot! Week-Saturday March 11, 2017: We reach our goal when the 300th comforter is finished at 11:40 am Saturday morning.
