Community Commission
The West Swamp Community Commission is a group of caring individuals who work together to ensure the mutual care of our church family.
Our Social Committee plans and hosts several meals during the year to encourage social activities and good food.
We provide meals for people in need of a hot meal or two; whether homebound or just home from the hospital.
Each Christmas we pack thousands of homemade Christmas cookies and prepare gift cookie boxes for our local Salvation Army Christmas Carnival in Quakertown. We also offer a fun craft for all of the children who attend the carnival; this is such a fulfilling experience to offer a homespun connection to our local community.
We send special care packages to each our college students two times a year to remind them that their home church family is praying for them and wishing them well. We update a bulletin board of our college students for the congregation to stay informed on their studies and interests while away at school.
If any of these activities sound interesting to you; please join us and help spread the love of God to our church family and local community. We meet the 1st Tuesday of each month at 7 pm at church in the Fellowship Hall.
