We welcome you to join us in worship at 10:30 am. Dress ranges from casual to dressy—whatever you are comfortable in. Our elevator allows easy access to our second floor sanctuary.
People have been worshiping at West Swamp a long time (we celebrated 300 years as a congregation in 2017!), so there is much about our worship that is traditional—like ending each Easter service with the “Hallelujah Chorus” and each Candlelight Christmas Eve service with “Silent Night.” At the same time we are always working to create worship that is pleasing to God and meaningful to people of all ages and backgrounds. That means incorporating dramas, multi-sensory experiences and new songs into our services when we can.
Music Opportunities:
Chimin’ In: This tone chime ensemble practices about twice a month on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm and plays in the worship service on the second Sunday of the month.
Choir: Practicing two Wednesdays a month at 7:15 pm (September-May), our choir sings on the third and fourth Sundays of the month.
Impromptu Choir: Like to sing, but can’t make a Wednesday practice? Sometimes we give an open invitation to come up and join the choir in a familiar song (with little or no practice). This usually happens on a fifth Sunday of the month or in the summer.
